“Having just moved in to a new home, smaller then our previous home, we needed to make some modifications to the kitchen. The project started with needing to make the oven and microwave wider and this in turn caused us to move the fridge and push over a large pantry cabinet. In addition we added another cabinet to our kitchen where an unusable desk was, all this to expand our storage capacity. We also added 8 pullouts in the deep cabinets for food stuff and three deep ones for pots and pans. We were a bit concerned it would look different from the other cabinets, yet Kris did a great job in the integration. When it was all done, it looked like it had always belonged.
Working with Kris was great, he is well organized, carefully explains what he can do and then sets it in motion. We were very happy with throughout the project, working with Kris getting the great results we did. “We retained Home Modifications for remodeling and updating our kitchen and bathrooms. The entire process, from planning, scheduling and completion, was a pleasant experience.
Kris operates in a "general contractor" mode doing some of the basic work and subcontracting for special services such as electrical, plumbing, cabinet work and counter top fabrication. He also recommended sources of lighting, plumbing items and other materials from which we were able to make our selections of style and price range effectively. We found all places we visited easy to work with.
The work went well. Kris is a "hands-on" person who kept us up-to-date constantly, both on work schedule, work progress and costs. Change orders were few and promptly reviewed and authorized. He made every effort to minimize the time we were in a “camping mode” when appliances were not operable.
We will have no reservation in having him back to do any further work we may need and are pleased to recommend his firm to others.”

"Kris recently worked with me on several projects in my kitchen. I had purchased new appliances, which did not match the footprint of the old ones in my existing cabinetry. Kris helped me to modify my cabinets to accommodate the new appliances. This involved enlarging the spaces, building a new drawer front and framing, constructing new shelving and installing new LED under cabinet lighting.
Kris was thoughtful and resourceful in coming up with solutions for my project. He was professional and timely in getting the work done and coordinating with subcontractors. He was neat and detail oriented in carrying out the work.
